Xperia Play
311 is a gaming device. Thid device consists of a side slider with gaming
controls i.e. a D-pad with the buttons familiar to play station. Xperia play consists
of embedded Adreno 205 GPU graphics. Disadvantages include: expensive, very
heavy and bulky, poor display, no video calling over 3G. Advantages include: optimum
battery life, gaming device, the gaming keypad. The mobile comes in various vibrant
colors.

Display: The size of the display is 4.0 inches LED-backlit LCD
capacitive touchscreen and the resolution of the screen is 480*854 pixels, multi-
touch, Touch-sensitive gaming controls, PSP gaming buttons.
Dimensions: The dimensions of the device are 119*62*16 mm and the
weight of the phone is 175 g.
Operating System: The operating system on which this device runs is Android
v 2.3.4 GingerBread operating system and can be upgradable to Android v 4.0 OS
and consist of Timescape User Interface. The processor installed in this device
is 1GHz Scorpion processor and Qualcomm MSM8255 Snaprdragon chipset. RAM is 512
MB.
Connectivity: The data connectivity features include GPRS, EDGE, 3G,
GPS, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP for file sharing, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for browsing,
Wi-Fi hotspot and microUSB v2.0 for sync between pc and device.
Camera: The primary camera is 5 Mega Pixels; the resolution
of the camera is 2592*1944 with auto focus, LED flash and provides video
recording @720p. There is a secondary camera. The features of secondary camera
are Geo-tagging, image stabilization.
Multimedia: Video formats supported are H2.64, H2.63, AVI, WMV
and MP4 and audio formats supported are MP3, eAAC+, WMA, AAC and WAV player
Memory: The internal storage memory is 400 MB and includes 8
GB memory card which can be expandable up to 32GB using a microSD memory card
slot
Battery: The battery is li-Ion 1500mAh powered battery and
offers 6 hours 25 minutes of battery life for talk time and 413 hours of
battery life for standby mode.
