Arc S is the
upgraded version of Xperia Arc. The design of Arc S is similar to Xperia Arc. Arc
S consists of embedded Adreno 205 GPU. Disadvantages include: mismatched
widgets, the power button and camera buttons are very small. Advantages
include: amazing bright and sharp screen, sleek and light in weight, good
battery life than its predecessor, fast processor. The mobile comes in various vibrant
colors.Specifications or features:
Display: The size of the display is 4.2 inches LED-backlit LCD
capacitive touchscreen and the resolution of the screen is 480*854 pixels, multi-
touch. The display is protected by scratch-resistant glass.
Dimensions: The dimensions of the device are 125*63*8.7 mm and
the weight of the phone is 117 g.
Operating System: The operating system on which this device runs is Android
v 2.3.4 GingerBread, Android v 4.04 operating system and cannot be upgradable
to Android v 4.1 OS and consist of Timescape User Interface, Sony Mobile BRAVIA
Engine. The processor installed in this device is 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor
and Qualcomm MSM8255T Snaprdragon chipset. RAM is 512 MB.
Connectivity: The data connectivity features include GPRS, EDGE, 3G,
GPS, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR for file sharing, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for
browsing, Wi-Fi hotspot and microUSB v2.0 for sync between pc and device.
Camera: The primary camera is 8 Mega Pixels; the resolution
of the camera is 3246*2448 with auto focus, LED flash and provides video
recording 720p@30fps, continuous auto focus, video light and video stabilizer.
There is no secondary camera. The features of camera are Geo-tagging, image
stabilization, face detection and 3D sweep panorama.
Multimedia: Video formats supported are H2.64, H2.63, AVI, WMV
and MP4 and audio formats supported are MP3, eAAC+, WMA, AAC and WAV player
Memory: The internal storage memory is 1GB where 320 MB is made
available to the user and includes 8 GB memory card which can be expandable up
to 32GB using a microSD memory card slot
Battery: The battery is li-Po 1500mAh powered battery and
offers 7 hours 35 minutes of battery life for talk time and 460 hours of
battery life for standby mode.
Features: Arc S consists of predictive text input, voice dialing,
adobe flash, stereo FM radio with RDS, document viewer, neo reader barcode
scanner, trackID music recognition

Color: This device comes in several colors pure white,
midnight blue, misty silver, gloss black and sakura pink.
